Who's responsible for paying the bills?

Members typically agree to continue paying their own household bills during the exchange. Many members agreed to use their own phones instead of the household phone while on an exchange. A home may also have additional bills such as those for regular domestic help, gardening services, etc. For fairness to both parties, members must agree ahead of time who will be responsible for any extra payment.
