The calendar: Everything you need to know
To update your calendar, log in to your account, go to your Dashboard, and click "Update My Availability." This will take you to the "Edit Listing" page. Navigate to "Swap Type," then click "Add My Availability." Choose the listing you wish to update, ensuring you select the correct one if you have multiple listings.
By default, your calendar appears blank and white. To show when your home is available, add your availability using the color block options. Unavailable dates can be marked as grey blocks on the calendar.
To complete your calendar, you will see four color options at the top of the calendar. There is a "?" next to each option/color that you can click on to get more information.
To indicate availability on your calendar, choose from four colors/options:
- Green: "Open to any request" - you are open to any type of swap on these dates (simultaneous, non-simultaneous, for SandDollar, no SandDollar, etc.).
- Orange: "Traditional swap" - you are looking for a traditional swap ("I travel to you, and you travel to me") on these dates.
- Purple: "Available for SandDollar Swap" - you are available for SandDollar Swaps where you do not travel on these dates. It allows you to stay at another member's home without them staying at yours.
- Blue: "Hospitality swap" - you are a guest of the member and will stay in their home while they are present.
Add and remove dates: To create an availability, click on the first and last dates. From the menu, select the type of exchange you wish to indicate for those dates. To delete the dates, simply click on the "delete" icon.
When you're finished, make sure to click Save.
