The different types of home swaps
Home swapping is as easy as it sounds. Swap your home for holiday with another person or family.
- Hospitality: In a hospitality stay, you only have partial use of the home and the other member will also be there. You'll need to exchange SandDollars with your host.
- Non-Simultaneous: Members who are able to offer their homes at different times (usually when swapping second homes) can arrange to have their holidays at different times instead of the usual simultaneous swap.
- Simultaneous: A simultaneous exchange is when you and another member exchange homes at the same time.
- In a non-reciprocal exchange, only one member visits the home of their exchange partner, such as: If you wish to stay at the home of another member, but your exchange partner does not wish to stay at yours. If your exchange partner wants to stay at your home but you do not want to stay at theirs. SandDollars can be used in this case. Earning SandDollars allows you to visit someone else's home.
