Your Questions About Free Lifetime Membership—Answered

Now that Habiqo has introduced subscription-based membership, we want to clarify what your Founding Member status means and what you can expect moving forward. 

Does my free lifetime membership ever expire?

No, as a Founding Member, your free membership is permanent as long as you meet the basic activity requirements.

What if I sell my house or move?

Your membership stays with you! Just update your listing with your new home, and you can continue swapping as usual.

What if I don’t complete a swap for a while?

We encourage at least one swap every two years to maintain your membership. If you take a long break, just reach out, and we’ll help you get back into the community.

Can I temporarily pause my listing?

Yes! You can make your listing inactive if you need a break, but it’s important to keep your account active by logging in and staying engaged.

Can I transfer my free lifetime membership to someone else?

No, memberships are non-transferable. However, if your home situation changes, you can update your listing.

Will I ever have to pay for features?

Your access to Habiqo’s core features—listing your home, searching for swaps, and messaging members—will always remain free. In the future, optional premium features may be introduced, but your ability to swap will never be restricted.

Do I need to respond to messages to keep my membership?

Yes, we ask that all members maintain at least an 80% response rate to ensure a positive experience for everyone in the community.

Can I list multiple homes under my membership?

Yes, as long as each listing meets Habiqo's guidelines, please refer to our Terms of Use for detailed information.

What happens if I stop swapping completely?

Your membership remains available if you decide to return later, but we encourage members to stay engaged to keep the platform thriving.

Can I update my listing anytime?

Absolutely! You can change your photos, home details, and availability whenever needed.
